What is the CfA?
The CfA stands for the Centre for Accessibility. It provides disability-related accommodations and programming designed to remove barriers for students with disabilities or ongoing medical conditions in all aspects of university life. For more information, visit the Centre for Accessibility.
If you have a disability or ongoing medical condition, you can request quiz accommodations through the CfA.
Accommodations
If you have a Letter of Accommodation (LOA) from the Center for Accessibility (CfA), to ensure that your approved accommodations are provided throughout the program, please:
- Notify the course coordinators via the Slack Course Cooridnator Bot
- And use the Clockwork online platform to send your LOA to instructors
- Unless instructed to do so, do not send the letters to instructors via email or Slack
If all of your accommodations can be met by the ORCA (check the list here), you will continue to write your quizzes at one of the ORCA locations. Please follow the instructions on the MDS quizzes page to register for your quizzes.
If your accommodations cannot be provided by ORCA, follow the instructions below. You should still go through the MDS quiz guidelines.
